Words from the Principal

Welcome to the new academic year 2020-2021!

We have been back for a couple of weeks now, eagerly preparing for the arrival of our students. It has been a challenging spring but together we have overcome the many obstacles placed in our paths. Lesson plans have been submitted, orders completed, and the building is transforming to meet the needs of our many students.

We welcome Mr. Adrian Barzey to the role of Vice Principal of the school and new classroom assistants Heydi and Sumari. Mr. Resul Erdogan will replace Ms. Fanny teaching SO to the older year groups.

When I joined the school in April what resonated the most with me was the feeling of family, support and cohesion. The staff – united and working collaboratively toward a common goal. The students – eager to welcome me as the new Principal and always trying to do their best. The parents – warm, friendly and understanding. Having worked in the world of education for more than 15 years, it is truly an amazing feeling to be surrounded by such professionalism, dedication and commitment.

What I have observed thus far is the great spirit of the staff, students and parents at Futuraskolan International Stockholm. This level of professionalism and excellence must never go unnoticed, and must not be underestimated. We are a force to be reckoned with. Join us in exemplifying and embracing our motto for this academic year – staff, students and parents alike – “We are good at what we do. Let us show others what we do and how to do it”.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”
